Analysis: Moriba would start for a third match in a row Thursday and would finally earn his first two shots of the season, although both were off target. Outside of that, most of his work came in the defense, notching one clearance, an interception and two tackles won. He has yet to see a solid match this season, not having the biggest fantasy output for a midfielder.

Moriba (Achilles) has been cleared by medical staff, the club announced.
Analysis: Moriba had missed the friendly against Braga due to tenosynovitis in his right Achilles tendon, an issue that added to an inconsistent injury picture over the past year that also included a right knee tendon problem. His clearance is a positive sign for Celta Vigo, given his standing as a key and largely undroppable piece of coach Claudio Giraldez's team when healthy. The club had been targeting his availability for the season opener, and this update points in that direction. Moriba is expected to be fully reintegrated into training as preseason continues.
