Holds starting right-back role

Areso has established himself as Athletic Bilbao's starting right-back this season.

Analysis: Areso has moved ahead of Johaneko Louis-Jean in the right-back hierarchy and appears firmly established in the starting XI. He has contributed at both ends of the pitch with six chances created and 16 crosses, while adding eight tackles, seven interceptions and six clearances. Louis-Jean remains an alternative at the position, but Areso should continue to see the bulk of the starts.
