Out for Venezia game too

Ehizibue (thigh) hasn't been called up for Sunday's match against Venezia.

Analysis: Ehizibue will sit out his second straight match while tending to a thigh injury. David Puczka got the nod in the previous match and should continue starting over Stefano Sabelli and Mario Mitaj.

Will miss Roma match

Ehizibue has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus Roma.

Analysis: Ehizibue has reportedly suffered a thigh issue late in the week and will take the tests shortly. Stefano Sabelli, David Puczka and Mario Mitaj will asborb his minutes, as Mikael Egill Ellertsson can feature on either wing.

Serviceable versus Frosinone

Ehizibue generated three shots (zero on goal), three interceptions and one cross (zero accurate) and won two of two tackles in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Frosinone.

Analysis: Ehizibue drew his first start a couple of weeks after joining, relieving Stefano Sabelli on the wing, and co-led his team in attempts, but he wasn't very clutch. Mario Mitaj and Cody Drameh will also eventually be in the mix at the position. He has recorded three tackles (all won) in his first two appearances.

Joins Genoa

Ehizibue has agreed to a multi-year contract with Genoa, the team announced.

Analysis: Ehizibue has been a free agent since June after failing to come to terms with Udinese despite being a regular and tallying 32 crosses (four accurate), 39 tackles and 51 clearances in 32 games (20 starts) last season, scoring once. He'll help replace Brooke Norton-Cuffy alongside Cody Drameh, Mario Mitaj and Stephan El Shaarawy.

Will return against Napoli

Ehizibue served a one-game suspension in Sunday's 1-0 loss to Cremonese.

Analysis: Ehizibue was replaced by Juan Arizala, who didn't have a good performance in relief. He has notched at least one tackle in six straight displays, accumulating 11 (12 won), scoring twice and adding five shots (two on target), six crosses (three accurate) and two interceptions during that stretch. Moreover, he has logged at least one tackle in his last five starts, totaling 10.

Will skip Cremonese meeting

Ehizibue generated two tackles (two won) and three clearances and received his fifth yellow card in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus Cagliari.

Analysis: Ehizibue only contributed defensively in this one, extending his streak of outings with at least one tackle and one clearance, and won't be an option next Sunday due to yellow-card accumulation. Nicolo Bertola, Oier Zarraga and Juan Arizala will be options to replace him on the right flank.

Opens scoring on Saturday

Ehizibue scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus Torino.

Analysis: Ehizibue capitalized on Rafael Obrador's poor control to score the opener in first-half stoppage time from close range. Ehizibue also contributed defensively with three clearances and a tackle. He has now scored in consecutive matches for the first time in his career.

Scores in draw

Ehizibue scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Monday's 3-3 draw against Lazio.

Analysis: Ehizibue found the back of the net on his lone shot of the game and he was involved in several chances. The midfielder should continue having a shot at a goal or assist against Torino, a team which has allowed a whopping 56 goals in 34 Serie A games.
