Adrián Rodríguez
Heads back to Alaves
Rodriguez has returned to Alaves after his season-long loan at Real Zaragoza expired on June 30.
Analysis: Rodriguez spent last season on loan in Segunda Division with Zaragoza, making 16 appearances and conceding 24 goals. That represented his first real run of senior action, having previously been stuck as Alaves' third-choice goalkeeper, where he made just two La Liga appearances across parts of two seasons. With his loan now up, Rodriguez is back with Alaves for pre-season, though at 25 he's likely to find himself competing again for a spot in the pecking order behind the club's top options. Given his contract runs through 2027 and he still lacks regular senior minutes, another loan move before the window closes wouldn't be a surprise.
