Back in training after World Cup

Theate has returned to training with Frankfurt following his participation with Belgium at the World Cup, the club announced.

Analysis: Theate contributed one tackle, three interceptions, five shots and 11 clearances across three appearances during the tournament. He made 24 Bundesliga appearances last season, and his physical presence and versatility, capable of playing center back or full back, position him to compete with Keita Kosugi for the starting left back role this season. His return marks the start of his buildup after completing his fitness tests earlier this week. Theate is expected to continue building toward full training involvement as preseason continues.
