Whips in eight crosses
Rebbach had one shot (one on goal), eight crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Celta Vigo.
Analysis: Rebbach was in his starting role on the left flank Sunday, playing 88 minutes in the loss. He would see a decent two-way effort, notching a shot on target, a chance created and eight crosses in the attack to go along with an interception and a clearance in the defense. That said, his high work rate in the attack could lead to goal contributions, earning five in 30 appearances last season.
Feared quadriceps tear ruled out
Rebbach (quadriceps) has trained with the ball again Wednesday, ruling out a torn muscle fiber in his quadriceps suffered during the match at San Mames, according to Javier Lekuona of Diario AS.
Analysis: Rebbach had requested a substitution due to discomfort in his right quadriceps, a scare that had raised some concern last weekend given his heavy workload this season. This update now confirms the overload has not developed into anything more serious, and he will be available for the clash against Atletico on Oct. 10.
