Rejoins Coventry City

Hamer signed a long term contract with Coventry City after departing Sheffield United, the club announced.

Analysis: Hamer enjoyed a memorable three year spell at Coventry between 2020 and 2023, scoring 19 goals in 132 appearances and being named Player of the Year twice, including during the 2022-23 promotion. He later gained Premier League experience at Sheffield United, contributing four goals and seven assists to win Player of the Season before following up with a Championship Player of the Season award last year on 18 goal contributions. Hamer is expected to add creativity and proven goal production to Coventry's midfield as he returns to the Premier League.
