Returns to Dortmund from loan
Ramaj has returned to Borussia Dortmund after his season-long loan at Heidenheim expired, with Heidenheim not planning to extend the loan or sign him permanently.
Analysis: Ramaj was Heidenheim's undisputed number one this past season, playing every minute of the club's matches and establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga's more reliable young goalkeepers, but Heidenheim were relegated, complicating their plans and pushing the club toward a different goalkeeping setup with 21-year-old Frank Feller. With his loan up, Ramaj is back at Dortmund, where he has a contract through 2029, but he has been vocal about not wanting to sit behind Gregor Kobel as a backup and says he needs regular playing time. Ramaj is set to return to Borussia Dortmund in summer 2026, where his future will then be assessed.

Ramaj made three saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-3 draw versus Bayern Munich. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 44th minute.
Analysis: Ramaj made three saves on six shots faced during Saturday's draw. The goalkeeper stood tall for some big saves, but couldn't quite do enough to get the win. It's still an excellent showing for the goalkeeper against a top opponent in the closing stages of the campaign. Ramaj has a few easier matches to look forward to in the closing two games.
