Nets key goal late
Reis scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-2 win versus Mainz. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 38th minute.
Analysis: Reis scored what would end up being the winning goal, as his insurance score came in handy when Mainz scored a few minutes later. The midfielder has a favorable matchup looming if he can get more volume, as Hoffenheim have given up 14 goals so far in Bundesliga action.
Nets first goal with Bremen
Reis scored a goal while taking three shots (one on goal) and creating a chance during Friday's 2-2 draw with Dortmund.
Analysis: Reis scored Bremen's first goal in the 88th minute while leading his side with his three shots. The goal was the first in the Bundesliga for Reis as he's started every match since joining Bremen in the summer.
Signs with Werder Bremen
Reis signed permanently with Werder Bremen from Club Brugge, the club announced.
Analysis: Reis came through Groningen's youth system before joining Barcelona's academy, then moved to the 2. Bundesliga with VfL Osnabruck before four seasons at Hamburg, tallying 143 second division appearances between the two clubs with 20 goals. He spent last season at Club Brugge, making 12 appearances across all competitions. Coach Daniel Thioune praised his running ability, ball-winning and goal threat, describing him as a technically well-rounded midfielder suited for the number 6 or 8 role. Reis is expected to add depth to Werder Bremen's midfield as he begins the next chapter of his career.
