Scores in loss to Liverpool
Lewis-Potter scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus Liverpool.
Analysis: Lewis-Potter found the back of the net with a towering header following a cross from Igor Thiago in the dying stages of the first half. The left-back has been a reliable attacking threat for Brentford despite his defensive-minded role. Even though this was his second goal of the season, he's also averaging 1.7 shots, 1.4 chances created, 3.7 crosses and 1.7 clearances per contest.
Starts in advanced position
Lewis-Potter recorded one shot (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Aston Villa.
Analysis: Lewis-Potter operated in an attacking midfield role rather than his usual left-back position, with El Hadji Malick Diouf making his first league start on the defensive flank. The versatile player attempted one shot and delivered one cross during his 67 minutes on the pitch but was unable to contribute directly to either of Brentford's goals. He has now accumulated one goal, one assist, eight chances created, six tackles and four interceptions across six Premier League appearances this season. His ability to cover both defensive and attacking positions should help him maintain regular involvement, although his exact role could continue to fluctuate depending on the team's lineup.
