Ibrahim recorded one goal on one shot to go along with one tackle and eight clearances in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Argentina.
Analysis: Ibrahim would start the match off well for Egypt, as the defender soared through the air to bag a header in the 15th minute. This is the lone goal of the World Cup for the defender, as he was unlikely to ever think he would bag one. He would start in four of his five appearances at the World Cup, bagging two interceptions, eight tackles and 35 clearances.

Ibrahim had one tackle (one won) and nine clearances in Friday's 1-1 (5-3) penalty shootout win versus Australia. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 120th minute.
Analysis: Ibrahim was busy at the back, facing a physical Australian attacking line, but he led the team in clearances and posted a strong overall showing. Ibrahim has started in three of Egypt's four matches and has tallied at least seven clearances in his past three contests. He should remain in the XI for the Round of 16 clash against Argentina on Tuesday.
