Busy in win
Gakpo recorded six shots (two on goal) and two chances created in Sunday's 2-0 win against Brighton.
Analysis: Gakpo had monstrous volume throughout Sunday's win, he did essentially everything except get his name on the scoresheet. The winger was dangerous with the ball, a threat every time he went forward and peppered the box with shots and created a pair of chances. Gakpo has been one of the best Liverpool attackers this season, and seems to be carving out a strong role.
Assists Tuesday
Gakpo assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and three chances created in Tuesday's 4-3 victory against Villarreal.
Analysis: Gakpo was back in the team and back among the goals during Tuesday's win. The winger set up Florian Wirtz after combining nicely down the left flank. He also created three chances as Liverpool ran rampant during the second half. The winger is off to a red-hot start this season, and should remain a big part of the team as long as he can stay fit.
