Scores in South Africa clash

Sadilek scored one goal to go with three shots (one on target), three crosses (one accurate) and one corner in Thursday's 1-1 draw versus South Africa.

Analysis: Sadilek drew the nod after coming off the bench well in the previous game and delivered, bagging his team's lone goal with a precise finish from the edge of the box after shaking free on a clever feed by Alexandr Sojka. He was energetic throughout the game, likely securing a regular spot in the XI. He was eventually substituted by Tomas Soucek in this one. He has notched five shots (two on target), five crosses (one accurate) and two corners in two bouts.

Provides spark off bench Thursday

Sadilek registered two shots (two on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Thursday's 2-1 loss against South Korea.

Analysis: Sadilek subbed onto the pitch in the 64th minute, replacing Lukas Provod in midfield. Following a South Korea equalizer in the 67th minute, Sadilek nearly helped Czechia retake the lead 10 minutes later. He sent in a cross from a free kick and connected with Tomas Soucek for a goal, but Soucek was slightly offside so it didn't count. He also put two shots on target, including a would-have-been equalizer in the 94th minute, but Kim Sung-Gyu came up with a miraculous save. While none of his production resulted in an actual goal, he showed a lot of promise on the attack so it would not be surprising if he saw more playing time across the final two group stage matches with his side needing at least one win -- and possibly more -- to advance to the knockout stage.
