Analysis: Ito was one of the two Japanese playmakers behind Ayase Ueda in their 3-4-2-1 tactic, but he didn't make a big impact in the final third. Ito finishes the 2026 World Cup campaign with one goal, three shots and four chances created while starting in two of his four appearances.
