Buchanan is back with Villarreal and ready for the new season, according to the club.

Analysis: Buchanan finished last season with seven goals and one assist across 34 LaLiga games, including a hat trick against Girona that made him the first Canadian to score three goals in a single LaLiga match, having joined Villarreal from Inter Milan last summer.
