Christian Günter

Still awaiting Bundesliga minutes

Gunter has yet to play a minute in the Bundesliga this season, though he completed 90 minutes in the Conference League.

Analysis: Gunter has fallen behind Jordy Makengo in the left-back hierarchy, leaving him without any Bundesliga playing time. His full appearance in the Conference League suggests he remains a viable option when rotation is required, but Makengo's position as the preferred starter limits his path to regular league minutes. Gunter should primarily provide experienced depth at left-back.
