Back in France

Sanches will return to parent club PSG following the conclusion of his loan spell at Panathinaikos.

Analysis: Sanches made 24 appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal and one assist across 1,205 minutes including 11 Super League appearances, seven Europa League matches, three Super League playoff outings and three Greek Cup appearances. Sanches now heads back to PSG where his future will be assessed heading into the 2026/27 season, having won four Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and Euro 2016 with Portugal earlier in a career disrupted by persistent injury setbacks.
