Félix Correia
Sets up opening goal
Felix Correia assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-1 defeat against Barcelona.
Analysis: Correia created Sevilla's lone goal with an excellent delivery from the left in the 19th minute, finding Youssouf Fofana, who scored with a close-range header. He threatened again before halftime after Fofana's backheel released him into a dangerous position, but Rodri intervened with a goal-saving tackle. Correia was replaced by Chidera Ejuke in the 59th minute after helping Sevilla trouble Barcelona throughout the opening half. Correia should remain in the XI when LaLiga resumes after the break given how dangerous he looked in this match.
Busy in win
Felix Correia registered one shot (one on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Deportivo.
Analysis: Correia had some good volume throughout Wednesday's win but failed to get on the scoresheet. The winger was creative throughout and had some nice spells on the ball, but the defense of Depor proved to be too much for him. Still the win and clean sheet is a decent return for Correia.
Joining Sevilla on loan
Correia has joined Sevilla on a season-long loan deal from Lille on Tuesday.
Analysis: Correia will replace Oso, who left the club to join Strasbourg. The winger will spend the entire season at Sevilla, but the deal includes an option for a permanent move that can be triggered at any point during the loan spell. At first, Correia should add another wide threat to Sevilla's attack, but at least he should see regular playing time.
