Underwhelming in Como contest
Marin (undisclosed) had two tackles (one won), three clearances and one interception and won one of two tackles in Sunday's 2-1 defeat against Como.
Analysis: Marin overcame a minor physical problem to stay in the XI, but he and the whole Napoli defense struggled to stymie their foes in this one. Benoit Badiashile is being introduced slowly, so he should have further opportunities. He has put up small numbers in every defensive category in the first two tilts, racking up five clearances, two tackles (two won) and three blocks.
Fine for Como contest
Marin left the last game because he was cramping up and is in contention to start against Como on Sunday, Sky Italy reported.
Analysis: Marin avoided a muscular injury and will compete with Benoit Badiashile and Mathias Olivera to partner Amir Rrahmani in the next game. He has posted one tackle (one won), two interceptions and two clearances before bowing out in the opener.
