Nets late consolation goal
Skarke scored a goal while taking three shots (all on goal), crossing twice inaccurately and creating a chance during Friday's 3-1 loss to Schalke.
Analysis: Skarke entered the match in the 76th minute and scored six minutes into stoppage time, netting a late consolation goal. Despite not starting in any of the opening three matches, Skarke has combined for two goals, six shots and three chances created already doubling his goal total across 22 appearances last season.
Nets Saturday
Skarke scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal), one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-3 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Analysis: Skarke created a chance and scored once during Saturday's draw. It was an all-action match as both sides seemingly scored for fun throughout the match. Skarke was excellent when he got chances on the ball and made his mark on the match. His output going forward could be limited as he struggled for volume or consistent action in the match.
First assist of season
Skarke had an assist with his lone chance created while taking an off target shot during Sunday's 3-1 win over Mainz.
Analysis: Skarke entered the match in the 88th minute and set up Josip Juranvoic just three minutes into his appearance. The goal involvement was the first since December for Skarke as he's made just two starts in the second half of the season.
