Undergoes knee surgery
Furlanetto had his right ACL reconstructed, Lazio announced.
Analysis: Furlanetto got hurt away from the team and will miss a good chunk of the season, depending on how quickly he manages to rehab. He made two appearances in 2025/2026 while Ivan Provedel (shoulder) and Edoardo Motta were hurt. Christos Mandas will also be an option in the role after returning from a loan.

Furlanetto had one save and allowed one goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory against Pisa.
Analysis: Furlanetto made his second start of the season in the final match of the campaign and finished with a win. He stopped one of the two shots he faced and did what he had to to earn the win. Edoardo Motta missed the match due to a thigh strain, but remains the top option heading into the off season.

Analysis: Furlanetto had a standout performance in his first-ever Serie A appearance, but it wasn't enough to stifle Roma and secure the clean sheet. He'll likely start again versus Pisa next Sunday, as Edoardo Motta is suspected to have suffered a thigh strain.
