E. Ferguson

Ferguson (ankle) is set to miss a few more weeks as he recovers, according to manager Fabian Hurzeler, per Darren Howard of Sussex Express. "Evan Ferguson, similar to the schedule from Stefanos, we have to wait some more weeks."

Analysis: Ferguson is not going to rush back onto the field after a few seasons fueled by injuries, as the forward is set to miss a few more weeks as he recovers. This will likely leave the forward with a return later in the month of October, hopefully not missing time until November. The main question is what his role will be once fit, currently slated for a depth role at forward.

Getting closer, still in rehab

Ferguson (ankle) is getting closer but is still in rehab, according to coach Fabian Hurzeler, per The Argus.

Analysis: Ferguson had previously been described as making daily progress in his recovery from ankle surgery, an injury suffered during a loan spell at Roma that required the procedure and ended his season early. His continued improvement is an encouraging sign, and his eventual return remains especially important for Brighton's depth in attack given Danny Welbeck's move to Chelsea.
