Signs permanently with Twente
Zerrouki has completed a permanent transfer to FC Twente from Feyenoord, according to the club.
Analysis: Zerrouki made 32 Eredivisie appearances during a loan spell at Twente last season, contributing three goals and one assist, a level of playing time he had struggled to find at Feyenoord. The 28 year old Algeria international previously came through Twente's academy before his move to Feyenoord in 2023, and the permanent switch back gives him a fresh long term home after his productive loan spell.

Zerrouki registered one tackle (one won), one clearance and two interceptions in Monday's 2-1 victory over Jordan. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 44th minute.
Analysis: Zerrouki was substituted at halftime shortly after he had received a yellow card. He had been a substitute in the opening game against Argentina, but got his first World Cup start in this game. While he won his only tackle, he did concede two fouls in the 45 minutes. He was very positive on the ball and completed 51 of his 55 passes in the game.
