Reports for preseason

Bellingham has reported for Real Madrid preseason following his time off after the World Cup, the club announced.

Analysis: Bellingham scored seven goals and added one assist across eight appearances for England at the World Cup, a strong showing that carries momentum into the new season. His 2025-26 club campaign was solid but disrupted, with six goals and four assists in 28 LaLiga matches as a shoulder issue cost him significant time. When fully healthy, he remains one of the most dynamic attacking midfielders in the world, and the ceiling under new coach Jose Mourinho is considerable, even if his exact role and fitness carry some uncertainty entering the campaign. Bellingham is expected to build up his fitness as preseason continues.

Scores off bench in win

Bellingham scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal) in Saturday's 6-4 victory over France.

Analysis: Bellingham closed his outstanding World Cup numbers with his seventh goal of the tournament, achieving a fantastic dribbling play after stealing a ball in midfield during stoppage time Saturday. Other than leading his side in scoring, he showed his value as a complete midfielder capable of threatening the opposing goal from behind the striker. This should be a big boost for him ahead of the next club season, considering that last year he failed to reach his full potential due to injuries and lack of consistency.
