Available from bench
Reitz (thigh) is on the bench for Saturday's match against Frankfurt.
Analysis: Reitz has made progress in his recovery after resuming partial team training and is now available as a substitute. He was expected to play a significant role following his arrival and started the season opener, so his place on the bench suggests he is not quite ready to reclaim a starting spot yet. With his return to the squad marking further progress, he should be in contention to compete for a starting role in midfield in the coming games.
Ruled out against Frankfurt
Reitz (thigh) has been ruled out for Saturday's Bundesliga clash against Eintracht Frankfurt as he continues his recovery from a muscular injury, according to Leipziger Volkszeitung.
Analysis: Reitz has made encouraging progress in his rehabilitation after recently resuming partial team training following a thigh injury. However, Saturday's matchup comes too soon for the midfielder, who has yet to regain full fitness and remains unavailable for competitive action. His continued absence leaves Leipzig short of options in midfield, with Christoph Baumgartner (hamstring) also sidelined for the clash against Frankfurt. While Reitz is moving closer to a return, no firm timetable has been established for his comeback.
