Signs with Getafe

Sazonov has signed a contract with Getafe, joining as a free agent after his departure from Torino, according to the club.

Analysis: Sazonov came through Zenit St. Petersburg's academy before making his top flight debut there and later moving to Dynamo Moscow, and gained further experience in Serie A with Torino and during a loan spell at Empoli. The Georgia international now joins Getafe's defense under coach Jose Bordalas, adding youth, physicality and long term potential to the back line ahead of the new 2026/27 La Liga season.
