Plays first minutes in EPL
Juanlu recorded one tackle (zero won) in Saturday's 5-1 loss versus Chelsea.
Analysis: Juanlu played the final 18 minutes of Saturday's loss after replacing Adam Smith at right-back with Bournemouth trailing 5-1. He attempted one tackle without winning it and finished without a clearance or interception during a quiet closing stretch in which Chelsea largely managed their four-goal advantage. The cameo offered little statistical value but was his first minutes in the Premier League, with Juanlu entering only after the competitive portion of the match had effectively ended.
Yet to appear
Juanlu has yet to make an appearance for Bournemouth this season.
Analysis: Juanlu is yet to see minutes in Premier League action this season, as the defender waits for time after joining Bournemouth this summer. That said, it is yet to be seen what he holds in the league, having been close to a regular with Sevilla last campaign. His value at the moment remains minimal, needing to see time first.
