Recovers, option Saturday
Jones (ankle) is an option for Saturday's match against Wolfsburg, according to manager Alexander Blessin. "Ricky-Jade is available again, away from the gastrointestinal virus. We want to take him with us; nothing stands in the way. He trained well this week."
Analysis: Jones is not going to miss any more time after he was dealing with an ankle injury, as the forward has been cleared of the injury. After around three months out, this is huge news for the forward, leaving him as an option to end the campaign. However, he has only started in three of his eight appearances this season, scoring two goals in his time on the field.
Could play in season finale
Jones (ankle) won't be an option for Saturday's game at RB Leipzig but could play against Wolfsburg on May 16 in the final game of the season, according to manager Alexander Blessin. "He's ahead of schedule and was already back in team training this week. We're all delighted about that because he's a real live wire. He could be an option for Wolfsburg."
Analysis: Jones recovered quicker than expected from his injury, and it seems the lack of fitness will be the main issue why he won't be able to suit up this weekend. Jones will be an option for the final match of the campaign against Wolfsburg at home. He hasn't played since Jan. 31 and has been limited to just eight appearances all season long, though he does have two goals on 11 shots and six chances created in that span.
