Sékou Fofana

Fofana has been ruled out indefinitely after suffering another setback in his recovery from a persistent groin injury, according to coach Will Still. "Fofana is still dealing with his groin injury."

Analysis: Fofana continues to struggle with the groin issue that has kept him sidelined for most of the season, despite recently returning to training and earning a place in the matchday squad against Brest. Manager Still's latest comments indicate the defender is once again unavailable, with no clear timetable established for his return. The summer signing from Lausanne Sport has yet to make his competitive debut for Auxerre and will need to overcome his recurring fitness problems before challenging for minutes at left-back.
