Earns another goal contribution
Gonzalez scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), five crosses (two accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 5-0 victory against Racing Santander.
Analysis: Gonzalez continues to see solid runs of play in La Liga action, with the forward bagging a goal Saturday in the massive win. This is his third straight outing with a goal contribution in league play, earning two assists and one goal during that span. Those account for all three of his goal contributions this season in four appearances.
Second Straight Assist
Gonzalez assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one corner in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Malaga.
Analysis: Gonzalez earned his second consecutive start Sunday and recorded his second assist in as many matches, setting up Celta's lone goal. He has started all three of his appearances this season and is showing promising signs of a larger role, contributing two assists, three shots on target, six key passes, and three successful dribbles in limited action.
Earns assist
Gonzalez assisted once to go with four shots (two on goal), six crosses (two accurate) and five corners in Monday's 1-1 draw against Getafe.
Analysis: Gonzalez earned the start after going unused last game and put his time on the field to good use, finding Carl Starfelt from a corner kick for an assist in the 57th minute. This is his first goal contribution of the season, coming in only two appearances. However, he has started in both appearances, hopefully earning more time after his assist.
