Ramón Terrats
Completes return to Getafe
Terrats has completed a permanent transfer from Villarreal to Getafe on a three year contract through 2029, the club announced.
Analysis: Terrats made an immediate impact during his prior loan stint at Getafe between January and May 2025, appearing in 16 matches with four goals and one assist as he became an important presence in the final stretch of that season. He then spent this past season on loan at Espanyol, an arrangement that included a conditional buy option Espanyol ultimately didn't trigger, before returning to Villarreal this summer. With Villarreal having lost faith in his long-term fit at the club despite flashes of his potential, both sides negotiated a permanent transfer that sends him back to the Coliseum.
Returns to Villarreal
Terrats will return to parent club Villarreal after his season-long loan at Espanyol, the club announced.
Analysis: Terrats made 29 La Liga appearances for the Catalans this season, contributing one goal and two assists as a primarily rotational option in the midfield. The midfielder lifelong Espanyol fan joined the club he supported since his youth and gave a solid account of himself in the top flight, though the club will not exercise their purchase option and he returns to Villarreal.
Assists as substitute
Terrats had an assist with his lone chance created while crossing once inaccurately during Wednesday's 2-0 win over Athletic Club.
Analysis: Terrats entered the match in the 84th minute and set up Kike in the 92nd for a late insurance goal. The assist was the first goal involvement since February for Terrats as the match broke a streak of three straight starts for the attacking midfielder.
