Nursing new injury

Havel "needs to fix an old ankle issue and will do it during the break," coach Daniele De Rossi stated.

Analysis: Havel missed time with a thigh problem early on, then a previous, different injury flared up again in training this week, and he'll be shut down for a while to get completely healthy. He hasn't logged any minutes so far and was expected to be a deputy up front in the early going.

Absent for Como fixture

Havel (thigh) hasn't been selected for Friday's match versus Como.

Analysis: Havel made the trip to Lecce after missing the opener but wasn't used and has remained limited in training afterward. He'll be re-evaluated ahead of next Saturday's clash with Frosinone. He projects to be one of the top offensive deputies in the early going after joining this summer.

Doesn't feature in Lazio tilt

Havel (thigh) didn't get minutes in Sunday's 1-0 defeat versus Lazio.

Analysis: Havel recovered from a minor thigh issue, but he'll have to wait to make his Genoa debut, considering also the competition coming from more established strikers, even though he was productive during his time with TSV Hartberg.

Still missing versus Lazio

Havel (thigh) "won't be selected for Sunday," coach Daniele De Rossi announced.

Analysis: Havel needs more time to recuperate from his thigh injury and will skip the second fixture in a row. Genoa recently onboarded Milutin Osmajic to join Vitinha and Lorenzo Colombo in their frontline.

Ruled out for Napoli game

Havel will miss Saturday's match versus Napoli due to a thigh problem, Il Secolo XIX reported, but he could return next week, coach Daniele De Rossi relayed.

Analysis: Havel suffered a minor strain and will be unavailable for the opener, but the issue isn't considered too concerning, and he could make a quick recovery. He starts the campaign behind the incumbent strikers Lorenzo Colombo and Vitinha.

Heads to Genoa

Havel has joined Genoa on a permanent deal from TSV Hartberg.

Analysis: Havel comes in shortly after the departure of Jeff Ekhator and will split duties with Lorenzo Colombo, Vitinha and Caleb Ekuban in a few diffeent offensive roles. He registered 16 goals and four assists in 33 matches in Austria last season.
