Completes move to Coventry City
Tchaouna has signed a five-year contract with Coventry City after joining from Burnley for an undisclosed fee, the club announced.
Analysis: Tchaouna made 32 appearances and scored three goals in all competitions for Burnley in 2025-26, his lone season at Turf Moor. The 22-year-old winger brings a broad range of experience for his age, having played in Ligue 1, Serie A, and the Premier League. He made his senior debut for Rennes at 17 before a loan at Dijon in Ligue 2, then moved to Italy, where his best season came with Salernitana, netting six goals and three assists in 35 matches. A move to Lazio followed, and he scored in a three to one win at Ajax during his first Europa League campaign. Tchaouna has represented France from the under-16 level through the under-21s, helping the under-21 side reach the semifinals of the 2025 European Championship. He said he is excited to return to the Premier League and plans to bring his energy and leadership to Coventry.
