Arsen Zakharyan

Earns first start, scores in win
Zakharyan scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Sunday's 3-2 win versus Deportivo.
Analysis: Zakharyan scored his first goal of the season in his first start for Real Sociedad on Sunday. He will look to earn more playing time following the strong performance after struggling for opportunities early in the campaign. The midfielder has logged just 67 minutes across four appearances and remains low on the club's depth chart.
Seeing minimal playing time
Zakharyan has played just 17 minutes across four appearances in all competitions this season.
Analysis: Zakharyan has been limited to a peripheral role, with all four of his appearances amounting to only 17 minutes of action. The midfielder remains well down the pecking order and has yet to receive a meaningful opportunity to establish himself in the rotation. His playing time is likely to remain limited unless his role increases or opportunities emerge through rotation.
Four crosses in opener
Zakharyan recorded four crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Friday's 1-0 loss to Betis.
Analysis: Zakharyan subbed onto the pitch in the 87th minute of Friday's opener and with his side trailing 1-0, he managed four crosses and two corners in the final stretch of the match. He didn't create a chance or record an accurate cross, but the fact that he was subbed on to help create something on the attack is a positive development for him. He'll hope to have a larger role this season after only making three La Liga starts last season.
