Fit for bench
Falchener (thigh) is on the bench for Wednesday's match against Stuttgart.
Analysis: Flachener is back in the mix after he recovered from a thigh injury, with the defender listed to a spot on the bench. As a defender with World Cup experience, he could be a helpful option as they enter UCL play. That said, he will look to see some starting time once deemed fit enough.
Still dealing with thigh injury
Falchener is still dealing with a thigh injury, and ongoing transfer rumors might have also influenced his availability, leaving him doubtful for Wednesday's Champions League opener against Stuttgart, according to TV2.
Analysis: Falchener had been spotted back on Viking's training pitch two weeks ago after missing time with the injury, a positive sign that comes as the club looks to keep hold of the defender for its European campaign. His uncertain status for the opener will continue to be monitored as Viking approaches the match.
