Scores opener Friday
Anthony scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Friday's 3-0 victory versus Chelsea.
Analysis: Anthony scored his first goal of the season Friday, a header in the 61st minute assisted by Jannik Schuster. It was his only shot in the match -- his first shot on target of the season -- and he also created one chance. He was subbed off in the 81st minute for Dango Ouattara.
Pushes for bigger role
Anthony has seen his minutes increase recently and could push for a larger role, including a starting spot.
Analysis: Anthony has forced his way into the picture at Brentford since laying on three assists in the cup tie with Birmingham, a performance that earned him a start in the following game. He was named among the substitutes last time out but came on at halftime, suggesting the coaching staff are keen to keep him involved. Dango Ouattara remains the main obstacle, having been one of the squad's most dangerous players last season and the player who regularly won penalties for Brentford, but his form has dipped early this season. Anthony could pick up more starting opportunities on the back of that, with another chance potentially coming as soon as Saturday against Bournemouth.
