Continues in backup role
Rodrigo Muniz registered one shot (zero on goal) in Saturday's 1-0 win against Coventry City.
Analysis: Rodrigo Muniz made his sixth appearance of the season and came on with 16 minutes to go, which made it his longest appearance of the season. He was unused in the previous game against Hull, but had gone three sub appearances without a shot before this. He took a shot in this game but was unable to find the target.
Starts season as rotational option
Muniz has only appeared off the bench twice for 15 minutes to open the 2026/27 season.
Analysis: Muniz has not started the season with an increased role as he is still only a bench option, appearing in two of the club's three games while earning 15 minutes from the bench. The forward only started in 10 of his 21 appearances while notching a goal and one assist, struggling to see much time last season as he fell just short of 1,000 minutes played. With a limited role and limited time to work in the field, his value will be minimal until a bigger role comes.
