Back fit for friendly
Otavio (thigh) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's friendly against Red Star FC, according to the club.
Analysis: Otavio had been ruled out for two to three weeks with a thigh injury, with Thibault De Smet having replaced him at left back during his absence. His return to the starting lineup now confirms his recovery is complete, restoring a key defender who had been strong defensively dating back to last season, when he started 21 of his 23 appearances.
Ruled out two to three weeks
Otavio (thigh) is not fit for the trip to Marseille and will be out for two to three weeks, according to coach Liam Rosenior, per L'Equipe.
Analysis: Otavio had contributed three interceptions, six clearances and three blocks before the late withdrawal against Nice that first raised concern, continuing strong defensive form dating back to last season, when he started 21 of his 23 appearances. Thibault De Smet figures to replace him at left back during his absence, with this confirmed timeline now giving Paris FC a clearer picture of how long it will need to manage without him.
