Assists from corner
Amoura assisted once to go with four shots (zero on goal), one cross (one accurate) and two corners in Friday's 2-1 win over Brest.
Analysis: Amoura was at the heart of everything good for Nice in Friday's 2-1 win at Brest, with a part in six of the side's nine shots. The forward took four shots and created two chances, and he finally opened his assist account for the season when his corner found Elye Wahi for the equaliser. The Algerian has been ever-present in the attacking line over the last five games, and while this was only his first assist in that run, he has created nine chances and taken 11 shots, with a goal and an assist to show for it.
Scores goal in victory
Amoura scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and two chances created in Sunday's 2-1 victory against Lille. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 57th minute.
Analysis: Amoura impacted both goals in Sunday's 2-1 Ligue 1 home win over Lille, first in the 22nd minute when his wide shot deflected off Nathan Ngoy and into the net, then on the counter in the 67th minute after Elye Wahi's shot hit the outside of the post and the rebound fell to Amoura who converted with Lille's defense exposed. He was Nice's most dangerous attacker throughout, also drawing key interventions from Lille's back line in the first half. Amoura now has one Ligue 1 goal from three appearances this season as Nice climb off the foot of the table with their first three points of the campaign.
