Scores goal in victory
Amoura scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and two chances created in Sunday's 2-1 victory against Lille. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 57th minute.
Analysis: Amoura impacted both goals in Sunday's 2-1 Ligue 1 home win over Lille, first in the 22nd minute when his wide shot deflected off Nathan Ngoy and into the net, then on the counter in the 67th minute after Elye Wahi's shot hit the outside of the post and the rebound fell to Amoura who converted with Lille's defense exposed. He was Nice's most dangerous attacker throughout, also drawing key interventions from Lille's back line in the first half. Amoura now has one Ligue 1 goal from three appearances this season as Nice climb off the foot of the table with their first three points of the campaign.
Transfers to Nice
Amoura completed a transfer from Wolfsburg to Nice on Monday.
Analysis: Amoura represented Algeria at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and spent the 2025/26 season at Wolfsburg. He should add an experienced threat upfront for Nice and could very well compete for a starting role. He scored eight goals and added three assists in 30 appearances (23 starts) for Wolfsburg in 2025/26.
