Sanchez has joined Elche on a permanent deal from Espanyol on Tuesday.

Analysis: Sanchez was expected to play a depth role at Espanyol, and while that might also be the case at Elche, he has a clearer path toward consistent playing time with the Franjiverde squad. He played 22 matches between LaLiga and Copa del Rey with Espanyol and has over 40 LaLiga appearances in his career, so he'll add some much-needed experience to Elche's backline.
