Samuel Mbangula

Unused substitute Saturday
Mbangula (undisclosed) did not feature in Saturday's match against Inter after returning to the bench.
Analysis: Mbangula missed the previous outing after suffering an injury on international duty but was fit enough to rejoin the matchday squad against Inter. However, he remained on the bench throughout the contest, continuing a difficult spell for minutes after recording just 12 minutes across two substitute appearances since returning to Serie A.
Good to go for Inter match
Mbangula (undisclosed) has been selected for Saturday's game versus Inter.
Analysis: Mbangula will return after a one-game absence and should see some action off the bench since Riccardo Orsolini (thigh) is on the shelf. He has made just two short cameos so far, tallying one shot on target and two crosses (zero accurate).
Unavailable for Lecce contest
Mbangula (undisclosed) didn't make Bologna's squad list to face Lecce on Sunday.
Analysis: Mbangula suffered an injury while on international duty, but the team hasn't disclosed its full extent at this stage. He's been merely a depth piece since returning to Serie A, totaling 12 minutes across two cameos.
Transfers to Bologna
Mbangula has moved to Bologna on loan with an option to buy from Werder Bremen.
Analysis: Mbangula returns to Serie A, where he previously starred for Juventus, posting four goals and three assists in 30 showings (nine starts). He scored three times and dished out two helpers in 26 appearances (12 starts) in the Bundesliga last year, adding 17 shots (eight on target), 14 key passes and 22 crosses (four accurate). He'll contribute to replacing Jonathan Rowe alongside Niccolo Cambiaghi.
