Analysis: Fayzullaev was unquestionably Uzbekistan's standout performer in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat to Colombia, heading home a loose ball after Camilo Vargas failed to deal with it in the second half to bring his side level at 1-1. He also delivered six crosses and took two corners across 77 minutes before being replaced by Azizbek Amonov. The attacking midfielder found significantly more space after halftime as manager Fabio Cannavaro adjusted his side's shape, and his goal, Uzbekistan's first-ever at a World Cup gave his team belief they could cause an upset before Colombia's quality ultimately prevailed.
