Unbeaten in win over Necaxa
Rangel made four saves and allowed zero goals in Tuesday's 1-0 win versus Necaxa.
Analysis: Rangel handled everything the opposition sent his way and secured the clean sheet that ended a five-match winless run across official competitions for Guadalajara. The defense hasn't been the main source of the slump though, as the team has given up just two goals over its last three outings. Rangel now turns to a road trip against Monterrey, a side with plenty of attacking firepower through players such as Hugo Cuypers, Tecatito Corona and Diego Rossi.
Allows one in draw
Rangel made two saves and conceded one goal during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Tigres.
Analysis: Rangel couldn't stop Juan Francisco Brunetta's finish that opened the scoring for the opposition in the 36th minute and then didn't have a lot of interventions during the rest of the contest, mainly because his team had a one-man advantage for the entire second half. After starting the season with four clean sheets in eight starts, the goalkeeper cooled off a little bit with just six saves and four goals allowed over the last three.
