Nets on Tuesday
Junior registered two saves and allowed one goal in Tuesday's 3-1 victory versus Napoli.
Analysis: Junior recorded two saves and also made two clearances and a tackle. This was his first start of the UCL campaign. He took the place of Peter Gulacsi, who missed the game due to a personal situation. It is unclear if Peter Gulacsi will be back for the game against Elche over the weekend and Junior may start again.
Loses starting role
Junior has been an unused substitute in each of the last four matches after starting the first four games of the season.
Analysis: Junior has lost his starting role to Peter Gulacsi after opening the campaign as the first-choice goalkeeper. He made six saves while conceding eight goals without keeping a clean sheet across his four starts. With Gulacsi now preferred in goal, Junior appears set to serve as the backup unless the hierarchy changes again.
