Bryan Zaragoza
Loaned to Espanyol
Zaragoza has joined Espanyol on loan from Bayern Munich through the end of the season, the club announced.
Analysis: Zaragoza returns to La Liga after spending last season across two different loan spells, making 19 league appearances for Celta Vigo with one goal and one assist before featuring four times in Serie A for Roma and recording one assist. The 24-year-old has struggled to establish himself at Bayern since arriving from Granada in 2024, making just seven first-team appearances for the club. His move to Espanyol gives him another opportunity to secure regular playing time in a league he already knows well.
Let go by Roma
Zaragoza is returning to Bayern Munich after a temporary stint at Roma.
Analysis: Zaragoza only saw some action at the very beginning of his sujourn in the Italian capital and finished up with just one assist, two shots (one on target), five chances created and 12 crosses (four accurate) in six displays (three starts). He'll likely be on the move again later in the summer.
Absent for the last round
Zaragoza (knee) hasn't been called up for Sunday's tilt against Verona.
Analysis: Zaragoza will skip his fourth match in a row because of knee soreness. He has never hit his stride since coming in during the winter and will most likely head back to Bayern Munich after the end of the loan. He has picked up an assist and added five key passes, 12 crosses (four accurate) and five corners in just six displays (three starts).
Nursing knee problem
Zaragoza won't be an option Monday versus Fiorentina due to knee soreness, Corriere dello Sport informed.
Analysis: Zaragoza hasn't trained in recent days and could miss further fixtures because of an inflammation in the area. He hasn't gotten any minutes in five consecutive matches despite being available and even though Roma were navigating some absences in the role.
