Back on bench
Gorrotxategi is available for the first time this season and is on the bench for Saturday's match against Espanyol.
Analysis: Gorrotxategi returns to the squad after being left out of Real Sociedad's opening two matches while working his way back from an undisclosed issue. He was an important part of Sociedad's midfield last season, making 26 starts with one goal and three assists, and will now look to work his way back into the starting XI in the coming weeks.
Returns to squad
Gorrotxategi (groin) is back in Real Sociedad's squad for Saturday's La Liga clash against Espanyol after missing the opening two matches of the season.
Analysis: Gorrotxategi is available for the first time this season after being left out against both Real Betis and Real Madrid while working his way back from an undisclosed issue. The midfielder's return gives Real Sociedad an additional option in the middle of the park, though his lack of competitive action this season could initially limit his workload. Gorrotxategi will look to earn his first minutes of the campaign against Espanyol.
