Leaves Chivas for Olympiacos
Gonzalez has transferred to Greek club Olympiacos from Chivas, his new team announced Saturday.
Analysis: Gonzalez is a natural finisher who won the Liga MX scoring title with 12 goals in Apertura 2025 and finished as runner-up with another 12 in Clausura 2026, closing his Chivas career with 29 goals and four assists in 69 appearances, earning a spot on Mexico's 2026 World Cup roster.
