Starts, scores
El Khannouss scored a goal while taking two shots (one on goal), crossing five times (three accurate), creating a chance and making three tackles (winning two) during Friday's 4-1 win over Koln.
Analysis: El Khannouss found the back of the net in the 39th minute opening the scoring in the match while leading Stuttgart in tackles. The goal was the first of the season for El Khannous in his first start after coming off the bench for a 16 minute cameo in the season opener.
Back in Stuttgart
El Khannouss is back in Stuttgart following the World Cup ahead of the club's season opener, according to the club.
Analysis: El Khannouss closed out a decent overall World Cup with Morocco, completing 182 passes with six shots, seven chances created and 10 crosses across the tournament despite not registering a goal contribution, including a quiet 62 minute outing in the loss to France. His return to the club now shifts focus to preseason preparations as he looks to build on that international experience heading into the new 2026/27 Bundesliga season.
