Busy creatively
Diego Gomez had two shots (zero on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and three chances created in Sunday's 2-0 defeat versus Liverpool.
Analysis: Gomez was excellent creatively Sunday, he created three chances and came close to an assist or more. He was the most dangerous part of the Brighton midfield throughout the match, but he was largely subdued as Liverpool controlled the match. Gomez has plenty of upside, especially if Brighton can get back to their red-hot form of the start of the campaign.
Scores in victory
Gomez scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and three crosses (zero accurate) in Sunday's 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Gomez struck from the halfway line in the seventh minute, doubling Brighton's lead with a spectacular long-range finish during Sunday's clash. He also stood out above his usual average by completing three dribbles throughout the win. The goal ended a 10-match Premier League scoring drought and gave him one goal and one assist in seven league appearances this season. A regular starter on the right wing, he'll look to build on this performance as the team carries its great form into the next fixtures.
